Are we allowed to bring food ?

 Please can someone tell me if you are allowed to bring sausages and bacon into spain from U K ?

Yes you can but yiu can also buy British Sausages and bacon failrly easily in Spain at places ike Iceland in San javier

I'm pretty sure you can take them in your hold luggage, but not sure about hand luggage. Are you going out soon? If so have a great time Chris.

Providing they are not liquids foodstuffs are allowed in your hand luggage, have done this with Easyjet and Ryanair

I understand meat would need to be vacuum packed, are you a butcher ?

If we were to bring anything over like that it would be put in our small cool bag and go in our hold luggage. I've only ever taken dried goods in our hand luggage, as I wasn't sure of the rules. I don't tend to take foodstuffs over,  but when you're getting there really late at night I don't see the problem. Most meats over here are usually pre-packed and sealed. Not sure what you mean about being vacuum packed dringman?

Friend of mine ( you know who you are K) who always brings his own meat over has always had to have them in a pre sealed package. So not bringing over loose sausages ,/ bacon  , Factory or vacumm sealed by butcher sealed packages only.

He nearly closed Gatwick with a pork pie once. Too solid to be x rayed and security unsure what it was so be aware.  Do not have any phone cables around a pack of sausages.

Perhaps the butcher on camposol will mince some chicken breast for me and make sausages .

I saw the condadoexcursions advertised on this page and felt I had to reply to let those who have not used them previously, how briliant they were while we stayed at Condado without our own car.

We used them a few times to go shopping and on a tour and I would highly recommend them. There is no doubt that I will use them in future.
