Watching Sky TV in spain

Hi

Has anyone got the telephone/internet up and working yet - I wasn't really that interested in the telephone/internet apart from the possibility that you could use a laptop with skygo to output to the TV and therefore watch your uk sky for free!

(would need to use a proxy switching service so looks to sky like you are in the uk)

Would be interested to hear if the wifi is fast enough to stream internet tv over?

'Proxy switching service' - what's that and how do you get one? JF

Best way to find out is go to youtube and search for proxy switching - lots of vids there about how to set it up.  It makes it appear you are somewhere other than where you are.

For instance as a UK sky subscriber I can put skygo on a laptop for free.  However in spain it would not work as your ISP address would show you as outside the UK.  You can fake this by proxy swithcing.

Same for BBC iplayer etc etc
