Hi.
Has anyone varnished their front door?They become a bit cracked after a while.
I think they aren't actually wood but some type of metal,but has anyone sealed theirs?
What type of varnish is best??

Hi, yes I varnished mine last year. The door as a type of veneer on it but just use any external clear varnish. I got mine from the decorators shop next to consum on camposol. You only need the smallest can they sell it really goes a long way. Regards Simon

I am guessing Simon varnished his front door. Although I would imagine that if you varnish a vaneered door it will probably start to flake off pretty soon.
