Hi Neighbours

Well its all over at last, we signed for our property No23 Jose Sanchez Lozano last week.  What a nightmare.  They must do something with the NIE system, this 1st come 1st served is CRAP!  We were taken to Alicante @ 4am to get to the front of the queue, crazy!!!

The Snag List wasnt such an ordeal as we 1st thought it was going to be.  For all of you who havent completed yet, apparently Taray will only accept a snag list on their offical paperwork, so the 1 you may do with your rep is worthless, Taray will not accept it.  We did ours with Parador rep and the Taray rep just ignored it when we gave it to him.

Hope to see some more of our Neighbours when we come back out in may

Martha & I didn't use an agent for our purchase, we bought direct from Taray. Our lawyer made prior arrangements with the Murcia Police Department for our visit.  The lawyer's assistant travelled from their office in Torrevieja, picked us up at Balsicas railway station, drove us to the Murcia Police Office where we were expected and therefore had no wait to get our NI numbers. All was done by 10:00 a.m. so we spent a relaxing day in Murcia, travelling back to Balsicas by train in the evening.

Congratulations on the signing of your house, €€€€  Ours will not be ready until August   When we  applied for our NIE numbers  we had to go to Cartagena  because we were buying in Murcia, we just arrived around 10am and were brought past everyone else, straight up to the desk, dealt with, and were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Our solicitor said you have to apply for NIE numbers in the area that you are buying in. ¿ ¿ 

Anyway we will be going out in May also so maybe we will meet up then.

Looks like everybody who didnt use an agent has had an easy time of it, so to speak.  As far as solicitors go ours Aldeas were crap to.  It was`nt till we came out to sign that the rep we were with said they were rubbish and that if he had been advising us when we 1st came out he would not have taken us to them, I thought that just sums up Parador..CRAP!!!!

We are both looking forawrd to meeting all of our new neighbours when we come out next....I can smell the BARBIE now, MMMMMMMMMMMM

just back from a wonderful long weekend in the sun  23c  came back to snow!!

missed seeing kevin and corrine but met up with carol and her sun mark 

we were supposed to start looking for furniture but manana maybe next time  the sun and wine were too tempting. i have taken some photos so will upload soon. i was impressed with the progress over 6 weeks.

looking forward to our next trip at the end of april
