Note that our IBI bill has increased by nearly 25% on last year and guess this is the case for most but wanted to check in the hope (wishfull thinking) that perhaps an error has been made.

My ibi bill this year was 604 euros, first time I have received this so can't compare. Does this sound right?

We expected less tahn las year and we had an increase of 20% , bil is more tah 600 eur this year

Yes unfortunately it has increased this year but we have applied to Malaga to look at the way they are calculating the earlier phases so hopefully we should have some good news by the time we get next years bill! Fingers crossed.

AEA submitted the claims for Phase 1 some months ago and we should be getting a refund for the 2011 overcharge.

They do not appear to have sent out all the Phase 1 bills so I will be checking with the IBI office in Manilva this week.
