Sorry Paula thought it Paul
We was last out in August for 3 weeks, The resort was very busy in the school holidays and quietens down in the winter, although the new restaurants seem to be attracting a lot more people in off season.
We have 2 young kids and whole place suits us perfectly and we have made some great friends, there is a great sense of community spirit we have found.
It grates on me that we never got everything that we brought into but the resort is tidy and well look after, I would defo recommend you go and visit and see for yourself, the 2 beds are bigger than they look and both great value for what you get.
Good luck

I have been on the Jardines 3 bed since 2008 and love it.
If you buy on the main complex and not on La isla then your fees will be less!
You also have a 3 bedroom option or the Villa Jana which has 2 bathrooms but only 2 bedrooms.
I was out there last week and the it was hot sunshine and the bars were busy at night! It gets quieter normally after kids back at school but due to more facilities it seems busier than previous years.
I get over about 4 times a year my wife 9 or 10. You wont regret buying and the time for buying is good right now.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

At the minute San Javier is the closest, about 40-45 minutes drive, Alicante is 1 hour and a bit.
There is supposedly a new airport opening next year(April ish) at Corvera which will be about 25 minutes.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for your input. The apartments are selling soooo cheap that we cannot overlook. We were out there last month and looked at the Mar Menor resort but realistically cannot afford them. We went to La Torre but the estate agent didnt have keys to show us the apartments (plonker) but it was like a ghost town.
We ideally wanted to be close to the beach so we could walk to areas, however these apartments are too cheap to not go see.
Are there many spanish on the complex? Any info muchly appreciated

There are quite a lot of Spanish on the resort but it is also very multi-national. It is certainly not "Little Britain". The resort really does require a car to get to other places and by car the beaches at Peurto Mazarron, Bolneuevo, Isla Plana etc are only about 15-20 mins away by car. There is a lovely long promenade at Peurto Mazarron with bars and cafes along its length.

I guess you are talking about the Jardines area rather than Naranjos? if so
Garden 7 is right by the Sports area and Condado Club and is a good location, without wanting to upset anyone gardens 1 & 2 are the furthest away from everything.
There are some good locations in the Naranjos area that are near to the Town Centre and are worth looking at.
