Bonfire -- Yes or No ?

  I have been asked about having  a SG get together  and bonfire , or is one already planned ? I am putting out feelers to see if SG owners fancy a bonfire on Monday the 5th . One suggestion  is on land to on the right has you drive from the final roundabout  from the skip and between the roundabout where SG owners have but in so much work with Andrew  . This was the land which Masa had promised would be our tennis courts .  If people fancy it let your feelings be known . Wood and other combustibles would be required . No household waste .Not only we can have a good time it can get rid of our rubbish .

Maybe we could arrange for hot dogs as well ..

Sounds good as long as no-one objects and it's safe, especially if there are any bairns about.

this sounds like a good idea to get rid of your rubbish and once again to meet old friends that were dis- banded in the past .        

We will be setting up the bonfire tomorrow after lunch . Hopefully it will be a fine day  . All hands  welcome , and anybody with a van would be doublely welcome . Bring your cuttings , trees , wood . rubbish you need to get rid off , etc.  Sorry but no household waste  . People willl be bringing food and drink at the night . All from SG welcome .   

Hi to all on SG . The bonfire is ready and we hope to light it between 6-30 and 7-00 . People are invited to bring chairs ,and somthing to eat and drink , there will be some food is being provided at no cost . Please if you have Spanish neighbours and friends let them know what is happening . See you all tonight .

With thank to the friends who helped to move the rubbish and set up the bonfire . All those who turned had a good time and the rain was kind to us and held off . The food was amazing , Spicey chicken with noodles , Hot dogs , Pizza , and black peas ( a Lancashire bonfire night delicacy ) for some  .

raging we missed it

HI Jason , Reguarding the settee near the skip Dennis and myself took it away with any wood left around  and burnt it on the bonfire . We also burnt two other settees which people wanted to get rid off .

Well done to you both for getting rid of the settees.  Sorry I missed the bonfire but I have the dreaded lurgie at the moment, seems to be doing the rounds.
