Al Kasar

I am in the process of updating a document I give to friends using my apartment which sets out the resort facilities. 

It's been too long since I have been out to Condado, so I don't really know what restaurants/shops are up and running in the town centre.

Can someone provide full details of all restaurants/shops/offices now on site?

I have heard La Cata mentioned on the forum.

Is this another one to add to the list below?

 you also have the condado club between jardins 5 & 7

it has

cafe / bar serving sunday lunches

6 paddle tennis courts

2 tennis courts

gym

kids play area

the only function room on the resort /showing regular shows

outside sun terrace

beauty salon

cinema

bike hire

Don't forget the club house, and the fiesta's and markets in the summer time.

Unless the bad bank gets sorted there will be no more units opening up which is a shame as the complex was just beginning to develop and become busy

The owners of the french restaurant must have signed before the bad bank crisis kicked in - no more can be signed for until this is sorted out. We are currently waiting to sign for one is anyone else int he same position ?

Or does anybody have any other news/information on this ?

 What has happened recently with the banks to prevent further outlets opening?

IRM owns Al Kasars - they are a grup of 5 banks and it was set up for them to take it on when Polaris left us high and dry

Spain is now in alot of trouble so they set up a bad bank like in the UK where all the bad debt will go to the bad bank until this sorted releasing of all the bad debts no properties can be signed for (houses or businesses)

This is what we believe to be correct from IRM but if any one else has any other information to explain whats happening please add a reply

The Director, Enrique, of IRM has told us this what is happening as has Rupert from Costa Colida Homes on the Al Kasar's Centre.. We are waiting to sign and we also know of people who have paid deposits but still are unable to sign

Id sooner not say as gossip is rife around Condado and ideas tend to get stolen. Im sure you understand what I mean
