The RJ45 sockets in the apartment are not connected. There is a coax which comes into the apartment into the wall box by the kitchen to which a cable modem has to be connected. The cat5 cables to the wall sockets then need to be connected to that modem.
A2Z use MAC adreesses to ensure that only their modems work, each modem is given a reservation in their DHCP servers. Plugging your own in will not work, I tried a couple of years ago with a ARRIS modem ( the same as A2Z ) that I got from the states.
I believe that in the early days DHCP reservations were not being used so it may of been possible to plug in you own modem as .b.bravo suggests, but no more.
So in short you need a A2Z cable modem, once that is in you can then plug your time Capsule or other wifi device into an active RJ45 port to provide wifi.

Yes I got mine installed too a few weeks back albeit after a 7 hour wait but the guy was very accommodating and also activated one of the RJ45 sockets for me for free so as I can also use a LAN cable if needed. Unfortunately there was no socket directly behind the TV but hey you can't have it all. Job done! Gabe

There have been massive savings in contracts for Gardening and Security which has resulted in an injection of cash into the coffers as such.
This means that the internet is effectively paid for by all of the resort in the normal fees paid for the TV on resort and the increase absorbed by that injection of cash due to the savings in other areas.

Don't do what I did and 'assume' the TV and landline bit are included in the setup for wifi. I thought it was a package I was getting so now have to call them out again. Bummer. If you want an internal phone line then tell them. I'm not sure how much the phone line and tv stuff is over and above the wifi installation but maybe someone here has a cost breakdown?

Quick question, apologies if already covered - we had TV and WIFI fitted last year - I paid a fee to Millenuim to take my wifi service to the end of 2012.
We are back over in May - will my TV and WIFI work as normal, or do I need to re-register with A2Z to continue the services?
cheers all (bring on May!)
Jason

All,
The service is exactly as is was before, now just including in the community fees. So, if you already have Internet, TV or phone nothing will change. Your existing TV with DVB-C tuner or seperate digi box will continue to work, as will any existing internet.
The package offered is for the service, but you will still need to pay for the equipment and installation, if you don't already have them.
Every apartment has cable TV installed, you just need a TV with DVB-C tuner or seperate digi box.
Every apartment has internet you just need to have the cable modem installed by A2Z ( see http://naranjosuno.com/2013/02/27/internet-from-a2z/ )
If you require an Internal telephone then you will have to get A2Z to connect your apartment up and supply a handset, A2Z supply these for €40+IVA
