Hi All,
Current situation at El Pinet at 12th April as presented to the M2 sector AGM on 13th April. For those who are not aware the developement has been divided into three sectors each having their own AGM. All I can say is that our sector M2 had a excellent meeting well attended. The following update was received via San Jose.
'Present situation at El Pinet as of 12th April, Iberdrola was presented with the favourable certificates from the OCA for the new towers recently completed and the burial of the medium tension lines between the point of distribution, the towers underground lines as well as the definitive plans of the low tension lines along with the assignment for Iberdrola to accept installations.
With this paperwork Iberdrola will map and energize the sector. It is estimated that in one month the lines will have been energized and the certificate from Iberdrola will be ready so that the Partial Reception can be requested and registered at the Town Hall. Once the certificate has been received and the Partial Reception has been requested, electricity could be contracted for the Public Lights, thats to say, lamp posts. The lamp posts that were missing were recently installed.
The street furniture for the developement is currently in storage and will be installed at the moment the Partial Reception is requested to avoid that this is vandalized or deteriorates.
The trees for the pavements have been purchased and will be planted the same week that the Partial Reception is requested. Negotiations are under way with the Town Hall for the possibility that the irrigation system can be switched on and used to water the trees and start the maintenance.
Once the Partial Reception has been approved by the Town Hall, the Certificates of Habitation can be requested and with these in place, the individual contracts for the water and electricity supply can also be requested'
The other thing to mention is that the largest debtors are being chased in both the UK and Spanish courts with some success although in our Sector alone nearly 50,000 euros is still outstanding.
