Can i please have some recommendations and price guides for someone to paint the outside of our apartment and do the wood treatment. Would also be interested in prices for painting the inside too. Many thanks

Hi,
We spent last week at Condado at noticed that quite a few of the apartments needed a coat of paint as the rain has started to stain the white walls and is making the resort look a bit shabby, we painted our apartment but it really makes the others look even worse!! Do you think ML will think about repainting the whole resort at any time in the future ? Is there a 'time period' in the community rules that states how often the buildings are repainted perhaps?

The resort rules stated that the facades of the resort should be paintedevery 5 years!
This will not happen as there is not enough money to do this, you can wait and wait until there is but in my opinion if you dont paint your own then it probably wont get painted.
There are people who are carrying out painting on the resort PM if you need details of this!
ps: Its not me lol

Three bed on garden 11, I did all my outside whitewalls, started at 9,15am and caught the 7.30pm out of Alicante. Lets say £100 plus £25 of good quality paint and we hear that Spain has 20 percent unemployment!!!!

The tub is 55 euros and it does only need half a tub, one coat is enough to brighten it up. What I was getting at was that if ML were to get a quote to do the whole lot it should not cost too much. I bought the tub last year in the paint shop that was in Campasol and it goes an awfully long way.

Hi All,
Just finished painting my roof appartment (inside walls only), took a day and a large tin of paint. looks better and covers cracks.
Used matt (mate) as recommended by ML, but noticed that the bulk of the dirt is on top and the strips down from the top where the dirt is trapped and runs down.
The question I for any professional decorators/painters, is if the top only was painted in a glos, shiny white, would this stop the dirt being trapped and therefore the walls stay cleaner longer. Only painting the top in gloss would also not be seen from the side.
What do you think?
