Hi all,
I have been reading lately that all properties have to have an energy performance certificate if you want to sell or rent your property. Where do you go to get one of these, or do you need one if you are not selling or renting.

Hi
We have just arrived in San Cayetano and heard about the Energy Performance Certificate for the first time. We went to see Taray today and they said that they can sort it out at a much more reasonable rate as they have the plans but not until September. Maybe if enough of us pester them they could do it for next to nothing. Haha.

How did you make contact with Taray ? I can find no contact number at the San Cayetano or San Javier offices nor was anyone answering the door at San Javier.
Did Taray offer a firm quote for an energy certificate ?

We called at the head office. They were very helpful. The young man we saw spoke to the architect who said it would be easy for them and wouldn't need an inspection because they have the plans. This means they could do it for less than one price I have seen of 195euros.
