Couple of weeks ago stayed at a friends apartment on the Island at Terrazas for a weekend, as they have just brought (not managed to stay yet) and convinced us it was a good place to buy. Decided to try before buying and arranged a few viewings whilst using our friends apartment. So glad we did - no matter how much these apartments are a bargin we would never want to stay there. Great apartments, lovely views, fantastic golf course but the noise from Copplers bar for the 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) was unbearable. People singing (some very drunk) until 2 in the morning - it was so loud even with the doors/windows closed and shutters down we could not sleep. The base noise made the shutters rattle. We had used the restaurant early on in the evening and had a poorly over priced meal and we wish we had not lined his pockets with money now.
The 2nd night my husband went over to ask if they could turn it down or at least shut the doors and he was laughed in his face and told to go away. Dont they care about the people staying there? We were given the impression there was rules about noise and Terrasas was a nice quite area to buy. Just be aware if you are thinking of buying dont unless you dont want to sit on your terrace or watch TV at night or even go to sleep. WE WONT BE BUYING and our friends were horrified when we got home and let them listern to the recording of the noise

I baught on Condado last year a 3 bed ground floor. AUGUST will be my fourth trip and I love it. My mum is there this week with friends and they are having a great quiet time. And she cannot believe how friendly people are on the resort. I recommend Condado 100%.

We bought 5 months ago and are at Las Terrazas for the 4th time. We are stil very happy and in contradiction with the first post, we are really enjoying our stay. We are on La Isla and it's very quite, we do enjoy breakfast, lunch and diner on our terrace and it's very quite Laurent from Belgium

We have just spent the most amazing 2 and a half weeks on Las Islas and have NEVER had any problems with the noise from Coppolas and find it amazing that Raphael (the owner ) would laugh at anybody complaining about his restaurant/bar.
The whole resort is beautiful and the most peaceful of all Polaris resorts and have had our apartment for 18 months and would never go anywhere else.
Well said Laurent, we agree with you entirely! Hopefully we can meet up on our next visit, as you know we were leaving as you arrived!

I agree with Laurent and EmmaD, we hear nothing, not even the construction started on block 162 next to us, keep one of the aircons on low fan just for some white noise, but we do that everywhere...
I would also state that I have not been bitten once by anything in the last three times we have been out there this year, we´re on the top floor and I know Jan has a problem being bitten but so far, we´re fine.
Highly recommend the Islas set up.

We have an appt in block 276 opposite the shop & Copollas. Last night we heard the music from outside, but having spent some eerily silent holidays here in 2011/2012, we were happy to hear a bit of life. Food in the bar is OK, never promising 2 b haute cuisine but its presence is a huge positive in the resort and should be supported.

We have as similar problem where we live, a house next to our 18th C church was put up for sale and the new buyers complained about the church bells. At least you didn't buy the apartment.
