DVB-T or DVB-C

Anybody know what TV I need to buy for use at Terrazas using the TV ariel socket in the apartment? Presume I don't need anything special to freeview?

You will need a digi-box of some sort to receive the english channels.  The only channels you will receive if you just plug in are the Spanish ones.

LG and Samsung smart tvs have both tuners in them.

Most newish TV's seem to have the option of returning dubbed programmes into the original language. As a fair few of the channels air programmes are that either from the UK  / USA, once you work out how to do it its ok. On our Samsung TV its really easy. Obviously not as good as having your regular UK channels for free (or paid for from our community fees) but better than paying 240E a year or 45E for a month if you are only out for a week or two at a time.

The community decided at the last AGM not to renew the contract with a2z, so community fees do not include English TV. If there are sufficient owners in your block wanting UK TV then it is possible to put a sat dish on the roof  and for a one off cost get  the equivilant of Freesat in the UK.
