La Manga

Have family at our apartment at the moment and they have visited most of the local places. Looking for somewhere with a strip of shops, few bars and restaurants and maybe a few market stalls.

I was going to suggest a trip to La Manga as I'm sure some of those things are found down there- but they are not looking for a beach day or water sports. We have been to La Manga a couple of times but just had a drive around the lagoon and stopped here and there for a beer or coffee. I can't think of anywhere specific to direct them too- so they aren't driving aimlessly-can anyone help?

Or can anyone suggest anywhere else?

Thanks so much- they went to Aguilas on Wednesday and really liked it.

They have liked Puerto Mazarron in the past and liked it this visit but the small stalls seem to have disappeared from the prom and with teenage daughter they were very much appreciated. They've done the usual markets too.

Tomorrow they are heading off to Los Alcazares.
