For those of you who dislike Goldcar, news from the business pages of El Pais...

Goldcar along with 16 other firms has been fined for operating a cartel and fixing car hire prices for several years. Goldcar got the biggest fine 15.5million euros, then Centauro 5.6m and Record 4.9m.

Sadly it does not look like any of the compensation will go to the poor consumers who they ripped off !!

EU Consumer lawsuit  against Goldcar to get some money back  ?? like currently is happening with some other companies in EU who fixed prices for consumer goods . a dream i guess...

things will be soon back to normal again ,as usual i am afraid ,people forget quickly ..

i guess at Goldcar they will be rasing the fuel charge soon to cover the fine :)
