My wife and I, recently returned from Spain. We visited Trampolin Hills on a couple of occasions during our stay and found very little improvement on the development side, since our last visit in December 06. Indeed, it is fair to say that visually, the development has taken a few paces backwards!
I uploaded 3 lots of pictures taken during our visit. The first lot, dated 24th Mar, show what I mean by 'backwards'. The damage to the roofs of the show houses was apparently caused by recent high winds and prolonged rain in the area. However, we didn't observe any significant damage in the nearby town of Campos del Rio? There was also considerable internal water damage to the ceilings and walls of the houses.
The second lot dated 25th Mar, cover the surrounding areas of the show houses. This area is an absolute disgrace to the promoters, cracks in the walls, paint falling off, tiles missing, weeds in the gardens, the flags of our countries in tatters, etc, etc, etc.
The third lot dated 26th Mar, are of documents given to me by a staff member of Grupo Trampolin that apparently show the different stages of the planning application to date. Unfortunately, my Spanish is not the best, so hopefully someone will decipher the content, for all.
All in all, we didn't expect to see any real improvement in TH, but were most disappointed with the apparent lack of concern towards the areas in and around the show houses. It defies logic to think that anybody would purchase one of these properties, given the condition they are in. These houses have weathered very badly and begs the question, what will our homes look like, five years after construction?
I tried (and have been trying for a long time) to get in contact with TH solicitor, Javier. But he still appears to be in hiding! Other than the planning info given to me, the staff of TH just blabbered out the same stuff as the last time and the time before that, 'we start to build next month' ........................... No chance! If this development gets the go ahead, I predict that the first homes will be handed over, two years later than suggested and pro- rata for the rest!
Having visited other golfing developments in the Murcia region it is clear to see that that planning permission and water will be a real problem. Corvera (sister of Roda Golf), are in the same boat. They have hundreds of shrubs and tree still in their pots waiting to be planted for over two years now! But like TH, they continue to sell properties off plan and haven't a clue whether or not permission will be granted. By the way, they don't even have show houses and haven't turned a sod.
TH are now about to release Royal Dream, a development of 400 houses sold together with a share for TH golf course. This means that there will be over 3,100 homes with 2 shares each in TH (7,200 members). Looks like we're going to have to book a round of golf 2 years in advance. This is totally unsustainable, no golf course could withstand that much traffic. A full daily time sheet of 200 players x 7 days is 1,400 players???????????????????????????
Whilst on our travels, we visited Hacienda del Alamo...............wow! Now this IS top class, premier division stuff. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Check it out on the web. Seriously considering a purchase and then sell on TH if and when it ever gets built. We discovered some very disturbing information with regard to a planning application close to Campos del Rio, I won't disclose this on an open forum, but will enlighten anyone who cares to PM me. (This info will only be divulged to regular contributors to this forum)
