Just wondered if anyone had tried a uk freeview box in Spain?

If not have you purchased and tried one over there?

I spent about €40 on a freview box in Spain.  I have to say it picked up fewer TV channels that the standard ariel but the picture was better. It also got a few radio stations.  I think I ended up with 3 TV and 4 radio stations in total.

Just thought I would share my findings

The cheapest option if you want more channels is to purchase a decoder box. Advertised in most of the local papers. Cost is a one off 500 - 600 euros depending on what you want. That gets you BBC/ITV and a wide range of Sky channels. The initial cost is all you pay. There are no monthly charges. Its not what you would call "legal" however its been operating like this in Spain for sveral years.
