hi we are buying at la tercia could anybody advise which bank to open a account at ie local and efficient . And any other advise would be  appreciated ,but not dont buy there .been told that already.

I purchased a Swing on Phase II last December. I opened a Sight account at the Los Alcazares branch of Sabadell. Whilst I get charged a fee of around 15 Euro every quarter, you are assigned a member of staff which has taken alot of the stress away when dealing with a foreign country.

Please private message me if you want my UK home number to have a good chat one evening. It has been a learning curve, but I have found my way through it with help from various people. I got sick of the people trying to discourage me (people who didn't even have a place on the resort). My wife and kids were over the moon when they first visited (after I had done all the decorating and sorting out).

Like Sandra we also have a place on UGR and have also been an owner since 2007 (didnt complete until 2009),

We have seen all the ups and downs, pros and cons, the builders lies, clubhouse and golf course closing and all other things that in some cases have been a worry, but we still absolutely love the place and would still recommend buying on UGR, and we are confident it will improve and only get better, at the price they are  selling for now its an absolute bargain, dont listen to those who have never even seen the place but still criticise the complex,  come and look and talk to owners on site.....and just to add in my opinion it is still the perfect place to live.
