Block 271 finally open

A bunch of us finally completed our purchase of apartments in the new block 271 yesterday - only about 6 months later than promised. Just a quick thanks to all of you who gave us updates, photos etc so we knew the true state of progress. 

We are out later this week to do some initial cleaning/buying/etc so might bump into some of you. 

One quick question, I understand there is some form of new owners info pack, do we get that from security or do we need to request it from Resortalia?

Hi Jim an pat.we own in 267 next to yours , glad it's finished as last time we was out5 months ago it was a shell. Av a rear time out there. We have been out 5 times since we bought 18 months ago.

Congratulations, it's great to know that completions are underway in block 271. Our solicitor is hoping we can complete tomorrow but we'll just need to wait for confirmation.

Hi Jim - sorry I can't help with the query as we did not buy from new.  It's great to hear that you have completed though - hopefully we will bump into each other one day.  Time for us to monitor progress on the next block ;-)

Hi, congratulations great to hear 271 has finally started to handover over just in time for summer, I'm out in 2 weeks so may bump into some of you. Jim Polaris should give you a welcome/completion pack but I guarantee they won't, it contains your Spare key plus some important documents like your electric and water contracts and most importantly your certificate of habitation from Torre Pacheco town hall, I would call in to Polaris when your out there. Thanks. Luckily our solicitor is on the ball and she got us all those documents. It was just a bit more info for owners I was after. I did ask today at security but only got offered the standard visitor site rules. I thought there might be a bit more than that, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Resortalia have produced a "welcome" pack for new owners it contains information on the structure of the resort, the taxes you have to pay, community fees  etc. It will be sent by email to all owners in 271  and other owners that have completed recently. If you you dont get it by next week contact resortalia to make sure they have the correct email address.

Thanks everyone for all the info, I'll look out for the email. On a wider point for new 271 owners, Resortalia have told me it takes a few weeks to "adopt" a new block, getting power and water sorted. Once this is done they will commission the lift and clean all the stairs and walk ways.

Went and had a look around the block yesterday , looks good, be even better when people move in. Another block completed now onto 272, Will be a great day when all the skeleton blocks are finished and these cranes are gone. Enjoy your new apartments 271 it's a great place.

Hi, how far of completion are the blocks around the lakes?and have you any idea how all the resales/ repossesions are going?cant wait for sept to get out for a while, laid up at mo with a vertebrae compression fracture.
