Relating to a case very similar to the ones of Santa Ana del Monte buyers, the Plenary of the First Chamber of the Spanish Supreme Court has recently issued a ruling, dated 13th january 2015, in which they reinforce the argument according to which Law 57/1968 has a protective nature, providing special safety to buyers in cases in which they don't get the property and lose the money paid.
The Spanish Supreme Court states, in that ruling, that the money paid is guaranteed even if the payment is not done in the "special account".
This seems to be a good signal, as we all are awaiting for the ruling that should be issued in short by the Supreme Court regarding Santa Ana del Monte that was seen last 20th may.
