Apartments to buy in Condado de Alhama

            Re 2007 prices? the prices in 2007 where infated and what madness when supply outstrips demand.

In 2007 for Condado demand was outstripping supply, I came over that easter and went to Polaris head office, absoulutely packed, people were reserving all the time, we got a list of available properties and that was changing as we stood there. 2008 things started going down hill, when people who had reserved and wanted to flip and make money unfortunately came unstuck. Also alot of people didnt complete due to losing there jobs etc. When Condado was first advertised the prices of the apartments where priced at 118000 euros, but they were so popular they started putting up the prices, supply and demand. I am still so glad I bought on Condado, had and hopefully will continue to have great holidays etc in Spain, which you cannot put a price on.

The facts are very simple as we always tell people, if you want to buy a property to enjoy and use for yourself then go for it providing you can buy at the right place and at the right price

If in anyway you have to rely on income from holiday bookings forget it, no rentals are guarnteed, there is a lot of competition on this site and VERY LOW offers that wouldn't even cover your bills

Yes promote to friends and family, but not at mates rates, you have monthly fees

Please remember ALL of your costs and charges, when you do your sums, community fees, IBI which are your rates you pay to the town hall. The non-residents annual tax and finally the standing charges for water and electricity

Never consider this as an investment, there arer still lots of bank propertes to sell on Condado

         We will not bother with renting there is far too much competition on Condada which means rates stripped to the bone, friends yes and people we can trust maybe. This is for us to enjoy with like minded people.

Inspecttahomespain is spot on as far as holiday rentals is concerned if it was a easy a buying a apartment for 40,000eu and putting it up for rent at 300eu per week then sitting back and making a fortune everybody would be doing it including me ,it is amazing that some people actualyi think it is that easy even these days it just does not happen .

I am not plannig to rent . Unless it for riends and familly as for holidays. I just ask about a general '' life on complex''  day to day as we like to have a brakes during all year. I got some good informations from here. For me it means that there is a good community of very helpful and good people. I hope I will but after the viewing trip ( we are going to view next week) Thank you to all of you.
