I am in the process of cancelling my buildings insurance through the bank as we have now paid off the mortgage. Our 2 bedroom in the Jardines would be covered up to 33.000 euro through the community charge. Does anyone have an opinion on this and whether it is enough as there is an option to extend if it is not. Has anyone extended their cover and if so why? I would think that if damage was to occur to the building, 33.000 would be enough to cover the repairs if not full rebuild? Just looking for peoples opinions or experience with this.
