Recent Visit

just returned from a long weekend of touching up the apartment and getting some golf and sunshine in. Great weekend and good to see a few more apartments are filling up.  We found out we have neighbours in block 290 so looking forward to catching up with them at Easter or summer. 

Even the local taxi driver said there does seem to be growing activity on the resort.....

the golf course as always was in great condition, the greens the quickest and truest I've played them so looking forward to a fantastic 2016. 

One question we couldn't seem to get answered was is there public transport available to get to los alcazares for the beach ? Does anyone know ?

Sean , glad you enjoyed your trip . Would you be able to tell us on here what's happening with the building work.

last I looked one block was to be blue ? Are the cranes still there .

Yes, the cranes are still there, another has popped up on the island too.

However, this is actually good  news in my mind as there has definitely been progress in the actual building of the apartments since my last visit. Plus, when we left on Monday, the cement truck was there with people actually working on the site !

Not sure where the blue (highlight) one is going to go, but i am definitely buoyed by the building activity taking place.

Thanks Sean , the blue apartments were on a agents website earlier this year , that's as much as I know.

The sooner the blocks get finished the better , it will look so much better.

To my knowledge no more cranes have been erected on the Island this last year, there are still just the two.

The blue accented blocks are 272,273 and 274 together with glass balustrades to the rear terraces.

just thinking about driving and parking in Roldan and then getting the bus to los alcazares as I hear it gets very busy for parking in the summer. 

Oh and thanks for the details for the handyman. Got all the security sorts and he recommended some other trade guys who did a fantastic job of the woodwork on the balcony.

I've been Apr/may, jun/jul and Aug/sep and never had a problem parking near the 525 hotel area. Closer to the mar menor or other areas may get more crowded.
