does anybody know when the pool is re opening?

As far as I now its some time in March i think 

When the pool bar does indeed open up does that mean 2 bars as well as maybe a golf bar too.

Yes so I understand that what I have heard 

I really hope we can keep the 3 bars in sierra golf reasonably busy. Maybe with more and more homes being sold all the time competition will indeed be good.

Either way we need to support our community.

I agree the best times were when we had the three businesses open . Let's hope that the community comes together with no issues or boycott,  so these businesses flourish and the site grows.   With good entertainment social events and general good community spirit as it used to be and to the future to allow expansion and growth to the site with hopefully more businesses opening especially a little shop to buy essentials.

Hi all

I will be moving into an Albatros this August. We are coming out again in April to sign paperwork etc. I am currently a music teacher and was a professional musician for almost 25 years. I also ran a couple bars/restaurants in Dubai in the 90's. We loved SG when we looked at our new house in February and my wife and I both agreed that it had the same vibe and friendly atmosphere that Dubai once did before it became what it is now. I will be looking for a bit of part time work but I will also try to get involved with the local community at SG and help all I can to make the bars as busy as possible. I don't want to come swanning in like the new kid on the block but I am more than willing to help with a few gigs and quiz nights etc if I am needed and it helps.
