I haven't seen anything that bans them, but probably best not to combine it with a pool party.
Don't ask permission, ask forgiveness. Go for it, that's what sunny days and beer were made for.

Duncan is right, there is no rule against. But please respect those with balconies above and beside you who may not wish to enjoy your smoke.

Goes without saying NicW. We live on a community where our terraces can be close to our neighbours'. Always respect your neighbour to make life easier for everyone, but this goes both ways. IMO as a community we need a little give and take. The needs of one owner need to be balanced against the needs of others.
BBQs can generate a lot of smoke while lighting but generally are pretty smoke free once the coals are alight (unless you burn the food of course!) As a BBQ fan, I think I'm OK as a penthouse owner as I am extremely unlikely to cause inconvenience to others apart from my immediate neighbour. If they were in residence at the same time I would of course give them advance notice of my intentions.
You will of course always find some neighbours who are unhappy with everything their neighbours do. Just pray that you don't get one of them living next door to you
Hope the weather goes well for you Craig. I suspect it will and given the timings of your visit you will probably not have anyone next door to complain anyway. I'm out 24th -28th and am hoping to brave the pool. Was OK at this time of the year last year so should definitely be fine for a barby

Hi Lesley and Ian
I personally wouldn't have a problem with anyone using the roof terrace for a BBQ in my block. I do however have some caveats.
- As an owner on the 3rd floor, the roof terrace is directly above my apartment. Lots of scraping of chairs, tables, sun loungers BBQs etc would not be appreciated early morning or late at night.
- Owners do not leave their belongings on the roof terrace. With 16 apartments in each block this could easily become a nightmare. Having said that, perhaps blocks could decide to invest in communal roof terrace furniture?
- Owners clean up after themselves and don't leave food and waste lying around on the terrace
- The roof terrace is also a clothes drying area so as per NicWs post it is always good to let neighbours know in advance so anything left out to dry isn't contaminated with BBQ smoke.
I know the above sounds like I am being grumpy but I think basic consideration of neighbours is all that is required for everyone to peaceably enjoy the wonderful communal areas at Las Terrazas. Whether that be the communal terraces, gardens or pool.
Looks like we will miss you again as we are out end March for 5 days and end May for 10 days. No doubt we will bump into you at some point.
Not even I would brave the pool in February! It wasn't warm but but OK for a swim towards the end of April last year. Should be a reasonable temperature by the next time you are out in April.

Not for me thanks , the space on the roof terrace is very limited it is strictly for the drying of washing .
i would not be happy going up there and finding clothes smelling of food and barbecue mess , not for me and I would report anyone I found having a barbecue.

Hi Goose, the roof terraces on the Grupo 3 blocks on Phase 1 are very large - over 100m2.
