Not had the pleasure of actually seeing the intercom work as yet, has anyone else?  Does anyone know why it is not in operation?

Well mine works, but I relaly don't understand the benefit. You cannot control the gate from the intercom, so if somebody calls you have to leave the aparmetn to let them through the gate. Surely, this is wrong?  I would have thought that the intercom released the door too?

I have recently read the manual re: intercom system and it states that the doors SHOULD open automatically to gain access. (I believe this is the case at Panorama Park) I agree that there doesn't seem much point to the system if you have to go down and let people in. It just lets you know that there is someone waiting outside to gain access?? I will be contacting Gesfin about this also.
