Tax for crossing pavement

Hi has anyone received a charge from the council for driving over the pavement into your driveway?

What if you are not going to use the drive way? do you stil have to pay?

Sounds like an interesting question.   Its normal for a council to adopt a pavement in the UK and take responsibility for the maintenance (is this the same in Spain)?

To cross an adopted footpath with a vehicle you usualy have to adapt it and its access for the purpose, in accordance with the local regs (in the UK).

I dont know about a tax for this but you can encounter a charge through penalties for not complying?
