Thinking of buying at Sands Beach Resort

Hi, from googling I found this forum.  I have just returned from my second trip to the sands beach resort this year, 4th trip overall and am considering purchasing an apartment here.  I have no idea if this forum is even active anymore but a real estate agent told me that there is a meeting this month with owners to decide about the rental scheme and if it will be offered past the end of this year.  Can anyone give up to date details on what is happening?  I see alot of the apartments up for sale, alas no lagoon apartments, but plenty of others around the property at a variety of prices.  If anyone is willing to discuss the current situation with me please let me know.  

If you are British .. then you should think again about buying property in Spain especially if you are purchasing the property for a holiday home / holiday lettings as you will need to pay 24% on any money gained from renting out you will also need a Toristca Renters license and liability insurance ..if you are thinking about getting a mortgage and hoping that the rental income will help towards the mortgage payments then you can forget buying if you look around you will see thousands of property's up for holiday lettings ..the only way holiday rentals will work for you ..is when you live in Spain  and source your own renters / do your own hand overs and cleaning ..if you are thinking about handing your keys into a estate agents and sitting back letting the money roll in then you can forget it as the agents will Rob you blind by letting your property out and not informing you and keeping all the proceeds for themselves ..this is common in Spain.
