I have just joined the message board and wanting peoples experiences in buying at Jumilla.

Does anyone know any good agents to buy from and their websites.

Is there a good sitemap available on line showing plot numbers and phases not just the colour picture which i find hard to read.

What about pools, restaraunts & bars how many are planned and at what distance from each property.

Anyone out there available to help.

I never bought at Santa Ana when I went out,  the only reason being that for us, it was a bit far out(well actually for my husband).  It's in a stunning location though .

I went out with a company called Cloud nine.  The lady who we dealt with was called Sue and her husband Terry.  It was an extremely positive experience with no hard sell or pressure at all, they chat to you on the phone in uk and ask about what your after in a property and then when you go out will have an itinery for you..they will also take you to see any other developments you want.  It cost us £79 for two nights and we were put up in the intercotinental Mar menor, they covered all our expenses.  Since returning they have kept in regular contact updating us on any progress on the development we bought at... Sue recommended an independant solicitor and also currency company which have given great rates with no additional charges that most have.

It will be  2014 by the time the whole scheme is finished and I sincerely hope my place will have doubled in price by then, and what usually happens on this type of project is the shops  and recreational facitities etc are normally built in line with the amount of residential properties

I dont have any promises from San Jose that this is so, as with everything these days  I suppose there is an element of risk involved with buying off plan ,mI can tell you that there are an awful lot of us who have taken that risk and expect to make a killing in the future

My partner and I are interested in Jumilla and had read about it in a magazine and have met with our friends agent who sells this but the price seems good for an apartment or quad house but as this would be a holday home we are not sure which would be best? Would love a villa but can't manage this unfortiunately! Any thoughts on the best property and whether to buy now or once development is started to be built?

The sooner you buy the cheaper the price

 so don't dilly dally

 buy the biggest you can afford if you intend to rent it out when you are not there

as it means you can get more rental income.

We've just bought at Santa Ana, We also used Ambasun (Karen) and have found them to be very professional and friendly.  We are due to send our first payment next week and although we have had several bouts of cold feet we are sure it will be the right move. We are using Ambasun to send our money and will be sending a sterling cheque to their office in Birmingham. Julie waits for the best time to save us money.

You may find it more efficent to transfer direct from your bank,  I did it took me 5 minutes

We are r4 plot 333 which is first to be built can't wait now it's all started.

I don't have a fax but work does and I do it through them, If it feels right do it you only get one chance in this life

We had been looking for 312 years before we discovered Jumilla and loved it from the start even covered in 4in of snow, we both knew it was the place for us

We have bought on R19 Plot 62 which is quite near you on R20
