does anyone know where I can hire peddle bikes or maybe to buy cheap ones, got my 7 year grandaughter coming with me in the summer and thought we would do a spot of bike riding.

You can hire the bikes from the shop in the town centre. The shop just passed the Penny Farthing coffee shop.

We bought bikes in Dos Mares. I got a real flash one for 98 euros and Linda’s was only 60 euros and still really good. They also have loads of bikes for children.

You could try Decathlon. It is a large sports shop on the same retail park as Carrefour, Leroy Merlin etc on the right hand side, just off the AP7 on the way to Cartagena. They have a great selection of bikes starting at around 100€, we bought a couple and they have been really useful.
