I understand that the program hosted by Trevor Mcdonald discussing the problems of buying in Spain showed Costa Galera as an example. I didn't see it but can anyone confirm whether this is true?

YEP, our complex was on the program,  looks lovely in the sun :-) -  They had a couple who bought 2 apartments,  they planned on using one and letting other pay for 1st one,  they now say they need to sell 2nd one asap as things have not workied out.

There was a lot of filming going on and Direct Auctions were filmed selling apartments,  they didn't  even manage to sell 1 at reserve price, then again only about 10 people there to bid,  program painted a bleak future for Spain but on other hand perople interviwed, agents etc etc  - said it's only bad if your desperate to sell as everyone looking wants a bargain around 50,000 under listed price...

My view is all those people buying in Eastern Europe  forget they have bad winters and will struggle to sell on in future, also flights are not cheap, can take 4 hours etc etc  -   if Spain keeps having good weather people will always buy,  developers just need to slow down on building..
