We've an apt in Block 8 and while we were there last week, we noticed that, whilst the intercom to the main doors worked as far as speaking is concerned, we couldn't automatically open the doors by pressing the key button on the intercom in our apt, so had to go to the doors ourselves to let people in.
Does anyone else have the same problem or are we doing something wrong ??

I did see a previous posting from 15th May which reads:
Intercom System: "It is true that some do work and others don't. This belongs to the old doors and it's electronic system which was connected.
One time all the portal doors are changed, last week they finished the work of the electrical locks which are essential for the door system and this week the Intercom company will go on with the work, I expect that everything works proper".
Unfortunately I don't understand what Jose at Gesfin is saying. Presumably the work hasn't yet been completed for block 8 at least.
Does anyone know what the current situation is, since the electronic locks certainly didn't seem to be working last week?

Hi Iain,
I contacted Jose at gesfin property again last week. He said that the Intercom company are aware of the situation within La Entrada and are 'presently' working to get everything working to 100%, as quickly as possible.

I've been over and checked this weekend. My intercom does not open the gate, next to the Security hut and the gate doesn't look like it can be opened electronically.? Can anybody tell me which gate (not door) they are opening? I can open the block door, but not the perimeter gate? I'm in block 6.

I opened the gate several times in july, they just pressed 7 (thats my blocknr) before the appartmentnr and then the bell, If this did not work now something is broken

sorry, just to be clear. If I'm in the apartmetn, how do I release the gate? I understand if somebody is outside how they ring my bell, but how do I let them through without going down and out of the building?
