i cant understand it but sandy  ground in spanish would read as  Tierra Arenosa

and arenal is a spanish word only they would say it as golf del arenal 2000

Tierra Arenosa is a place in Ronda and arenal had a planned development   for town  and terrace houses    on this site but i dont think  work has started yet as you can only view the plans and artist drawings

so it is possible this is what you read about
