I Need A Cleaner Not Key Holder That Cleans!

My wife and I are a little tired of the endless extensions to handover dates and are starting to think over the possibility of selling (or, at least, attempting to) our ground floor front line golf apartment.  Does anybody know whether Polaris are amenable to returning monies invested or is selling privately the only option?   If so, how do you go about this most efficiently?  Help would be much appreciated.

Have a look at your contract, if it is the same as ours (I assume it is),I think it's clause 4 that you'd be interested in. I'm at work so I cannot verify the content but, it says something along the lines of 'if building hasn't been completed from 18 months from the start of construction then you are entitled to a full refund with no penalties'.

The only problem with this is waiting 18 months from the beginning of construction! What exactly 'the beginning of construction' means is open for debate, it may be worth trying to get some clarification from Polaris.

Have you managed to get all your money back including fees incurred? What is this saying about the entire project? Do you think it's doomed??.  Now that money is being refunded it would suggest so.

Thanks for that davey - what a relief. Its good to hear from people already investing successfully with PW, but they dont do themselves any favours by not keeping us informed of progress (or lack of). Have already checked out your place in La Torre on Youtube - it looks great. May well take you up on the rental offer at some stage.
