We are looking for a solicitor to sort out our purchase at the Almanzora Country Club development.  Can anyone recommend a solicitor or have you had dealings with an 'unhelpful' solicitor??

Hi I am a newby on this site and have read the other comments with interest.  We have purchased through MASA and are as increasingley frustrated with the lack of feed back as everyone else.  The agent who took us on the viewing advised us that most people used masa solicitors, we have decided against this and intend to use an independent solicitor could anyone recommend one and any idea of there fees?

Does it matter that we havent yet appointed a solicitor?

She is dealing with our purchase (which we began in March 2005) - we have only paid the deposit so far. Huma wanted the next payment by July 2005 - Yolanda insisted that we paid no more until she gets the OK that they have the license/planning permission. She seemed to be on the ball and thankfully all I have paid out is £2,000 (deposit) so far.

I was told by the project manager in March 2005 that although the predicted time for completion of our Tarifa was December 2006 he expected the property to be finished by August 2006.
