Iceland store in Torrevieja is opening around July 11th (finally)

We may not be letting our place, and therefore not using a Property Management Service.  If that's the case, our last day at La Torre will always be taken up doing the laundry (ready for the other friends or family who follow - and so on)! 

Does anyone know if  there's anyone out there providing a 'pay as you go' laundry/cleaning service?

Most Property Management Companies and people who provide Keyholding  have meet/greet/laundry/cleaning etc as separate chargeable items anyway (unless you take the expensive fully inclusive packages) so you should find plenty willing to do just laundry/cleaning. No-one turns down business out there.

Even if you are not letting, you may want also to consider a Keyholder Only service option. Ours works out about 250 euros per year.They are basic services, but for peace of mind you get regular visits to your property (weekly or forthnightly) to check it over, air the property,check for leaks, check it is secure, run taps and flush loos etc for the long periods you may not be there. Also you have a 'local' contact for any problems for anyone staying in your property to call.

We were also hoping to have seen some posts from somebody who had moved on to the site as resident and starting a keyholding & cleaning service. We've done this with a previous purchase in Spain and like ColatLt says, it's been great just to have somebody who can check things over and go in if somebody is visiting.

My husband and I are starting a key holding business at La Torre in January 2008. We can do cleaning, meet and greets etc.

We have been renting our townhouse for the past 18 months so can speak from experience - some good, some not so good.
