Long Term Rent Wanted - 3 Bed House with Separate Apartment

Hi everyone,

We are Stu & Sue Tinkler. We haven't bought on SG yet as we know of the delays that you have all had so we decided to wait until everything was sorted out and then we are planning to buy a resale property either an Open or Albatross style, so we are likely to end up being neighbours eventually.

I came upon this message board by accident a few weeks ago and have been reading your message threads ....... everyone seems really friendly and this is just making us more certain that this is an area we would like to move to.

I have seen three re-sale properties advertised so far (of the types we are interested in) so considering no-one has moved in yet we don't think it should be too much of a problem finding the right re-sale property for us ........ there is actually one we are interested in already and have spoken to the owner but we're not prepared to make an offer until everything has been sorted out and deeds etc. are in place, I'll let you know how we get on.

We were out at SG last week when we were over on holiday and the agent told us that the first properties would be released at the end of August and after reading your most recent messages it sounds like they were telling the truth for once.

Just thought we'd introduce ourselves.

Do you play golf ??  If so you better polish your clubs, Rob just started playing and he just shot a 88. I don't think I'll be playing him for money. We will have to keep an eye on him!!

Thanks for the warm welcome, it's appreciated.

We don't play golf, but we're up for plenty of other social activities, barbies, parties, get togethers, festivities, celebrations, shindigs, trips to the pub and for the ladies ....... shopping trips and lunches. 

I'll keep you updated with our house search once handovers have taken place and we are in a position to move forward with an offer. If anyone is thinking of selling or knows someone who is selling an Albatross or an Open style property feel free to contact us with details as it will give us more choice of plot location.

We will be back in Spain in October and wil be visiting Sierra Golf again to monitor progress so you never know we may bump into some of you then.
