Hi Davvid,
firstly I am very sorry to hear of your unpleasant experience.
Sadly you are learning one of the lessons of buying in Spain. I hate to have to be the one to give you a reality check, but you must realise that the big players in Spanish property sales did not get where they are by their caring attitude and commendable aftersales service. I am particularly amazed that people take these subsidised inspection visits with the big companies and don't think they are walking into the lions' den, so to speak. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
Yes, there will be those who can speak up for the big companies and say they had no problem with them, but, with the numbers they have dealt with over recent years, it is only logical that they WILL have had some satisfied customers.
Once you are using your property regularly and get to know your neighbours, you wil hear other stories not too dissimilar to your own.
With regard to AIPP, FOPDAC and any other of these self-appointed member organisations, you should understand that they are simply clubs which the various companies join in an attempt to lend themselves credibility, and sadly you have believed the publicity. A simple check of the names in the list of members for these so-called professional organisations should tell you all you need to know about them. Membership is open to virtually anyone upon payment of the appropriate fee.
Sadly Davvid, I do not think for even one second that AIPP will listen to you. It is in their interest not to upset Parador. If they try to censure Parador, the latter will simply leave and go and join one of the other similar organisations, and AIPP will be one very big member light.
I hope you get over your disappointment Davvid, but I have to tell you now, I think you are flogging a dead horse.
