disabled needs

Hi All

Has anyone used the public pool in San Cayetano yet, if so what is it like and how much is it to use it.

Hi Christine,

Just got back yesterday. The public pool is up and running and really good to have nearby.

The pool is quite deep both ends ( no real shallow end ) but beautifully clean. Good toilet and shower facilities and grassed area all around the pool with a few sun beds and umbrella's.

It is 2euro per adult for the whole day but think a family ticket is available. There is also talk of a subsidised pass but could not quite understand. It closes about 7pm when on some evenings it is used for lessons, ladies water aerobics and stuff.

That sounds great. I didn't realise it was an outdoor pool. I assumed it was indoor. Do you know if it will be heated at all? Not now but maybe in the cooler months.

Not sure if it will be heated in the winter  months but it is excellent at the moment.

Hi Jan,

We used the pool a couple of times and believe it opens 10am, definately closed for the public at 7pm. There are no notices up at the moment regarding opening times or restrictions. The attendant spoke a little English and our Spanish leaves a lot to be desired so getting any firm info was difficult. We will try to learn more next time or if anyone out there could find out more it would be appreciated. Thanks

PS The young lady attendant who wears glasses is named Cristina and she lives in the village
