Hi All

I dont know if this is true but a good source from spain told me that the detached villas on phase 2 dont belong to taray thay are owned by a company who have bought the land at the side of our phase 1 you know the land in between us and that factory.

does anyone have any info or views on this?

Iain

Hi

We received an email from Parador approx 2 weeks ago, advising that Taray had confirmed the marble showroom was being removed. We have been trying to obtain the answer to this question since last October, but still wont believe it until we see it !

Our solicitor spoke to Taray about 3/4 months ago, and they told her that the showroom was there when they bought the land, and that it had been there for a while, so she didn't think it would be removed. She also investigated the land inbetween the two phases, and told us it was classified as "Rustic Land" and therefore should not be built on, but it could be possible in the future, but licences would be more difficult to obtain. Taray were not aware of any plans in the pipeline.

Who knows what will happen ?

Hi

Yes, it would be great if the marble showroom was removed and either residential properties or shops/facilities for our use were built on this land. The original concern was that further industrial outlets could be built. We couldn't understand why Taray had bought all the land on both sides, but just left that triangular area. It seemed strange!

Yes to some of us it would be terrible if the land was built on ,as we purchased a house that looks on this land rather than one that looks directly on to another persons property.

I have mixed feelings about it.

I think it would be good to improve the land and make it a green area and houses.

Then i think why did i pay for a end corner plot with a half decent view.

If they do build on there it will be a while off. we will just be over the dust and it will all start again.

I was told that the villas on phase 2 that you can see on the master plan on www.taray.es dont belong to taray they are owned by another company who have also bought the land we are discussing.

And now they have canceled the villas cos they cant sell them they are replacing them with apartments if this is true then i hope they dont build a big block of apartments on the land we are talking about. they allready know they cant sell villas so apartments it might be?????

Which would really pi** me off

Bye for now

Hi Helen

Just to clarify - I only meant I would rather see other houses etc, than more industrial buildings on the area in question.

We too have bought a property that overlooks this land, and would rather look at grass and open land, but the marble showroom and builders yard behind it really are an eyesore. We will just have to wait and see what transpires, but the removal of the showroom would be great. It was just a worry that taray didn't own this land, so we would never know what would be built on it.

Regards

Carol

Hi Jean & Chris

If you go on the Taray site - www.taray.es  you can bring up all the different house types they are building on Hacienda Taray.

Hi Iain

There are some apartments being built at the other end of the village. When you come off the C3319 from San Javier & take the 2nd exit to San Cayetano you can see them to the right of that road in front of you, but can't remember who the builder is.

Sue

P.S When we went up the industrial estate over the bridge from Balsicas, on the Roldan Road we noticed a Taray hut on the left hand side of the road. On their website it looks like they are building another site at Balsicas so looks like that may be imminent.
