La Cala de Mijas Marina

We have an apartment on the neighbouring complex 'Vista Bahia' and are having on-going difficulties with usage of our pool.

Having become owners of our apartment in Oct 2004, the pool only opened June 2006. We are now being told that it will only be opened for the months July & August with a lifeguard. This will obviously have huge rental implications. The community secreataries (AMMEX) tell us this is because Andalucian law states that a pool is not allowed to be used without a lifeguard in situ.

Does anyone know if this is the case?

We are taking this up with our lawyers but they take a while to get back to us.

I had heard that there is a requirement to have a life guard for the months of July & August. However I understood you did not need one for the other months. Ill check this out and get back to you. I stayed at a friends complex near by late Oct last year and there was no lifeguard but when I stayed in july this year there was a lifeguard.
