B&Q / BRICO DEPOT in Crevillente soon

We have an appartment in Block 8, phase 2, and like a lot of people on this site, are very unhappy with the size and lack of cupboard space in the kitchen.   What sort of money are we talking about to get it up to standard? (Bearing in mind that we'll have to knock down most of the wall between the kitchen and living room.)  Also, who did you get to put it right?  Perhaps if there's a few of us,  we could meet down there and get it sorted.

We were also under the impression that there would be some owner storage space somewhere(!)   Where is it??  We walked round the garage area under block 8 and couldn't see a single cupboard.  Perhaps its another myth!

I am in block D, phase 1. I have had my kitchen rebuilt and it has cost me £1600.

That includes new worktop with sing/draining board, cupboards around the top that wrap around the corner and over the fridge, cupboards/draws around the bottom replaced to match the top ones.

Also the hideously ugly boiler on display has been boxed in.

I know it is expensive considering the price of kitchens over here, but I have an excellent management company and they sorted it all out for me, measured up, dealt with the carpenter, and all I had to do was look at the pictures and pay. There are quite a few people on phase 1 that have gone down my route.

If you want to see pictures, PM me with your email and I'll forward them on. As it stood originally, no management company would rent it with the original kitchen as storing cleaning equipment with food is not considered a kitchen fit for purpose.
