Hi again,
Before we went to SG I asked if anyone would like an updated photo. I have just put a few on the website. When we got back last night there were quite a few request that came in after we had left so I'm afraid these were not done. Hopefully theones I have uploaded are 15/46, 15/19, 16/20 twice, 16/79 and the pool area by M16. The photo of the pool area does not do it justice. It is certainly not a large pool but you can swim lengths in it (unless it gets busy) The trees outside the properties are quite small but once they are established it will give the roads a nice finishing touch.

Hi Chris/Sandra,
No we have not got our keys yet, the site office would not let us in. I was a little annoyed because one of the blinds was open and the window was also open. I mentioned this to the site office and they were not interested. We went to the new Carrefours at Cartagena to see what it was like and I think that's the place we will head for when we start shopping. It was outside the town on a large industrial estate, lots of parking and loads of other shops.

Hi Davina
We got word from masa that our house was ready for handover last week but Iberian our agents have not told us thats the cas yet, I guess thats because they're waiting on the power and water getting sorted out which is fair enough.
Starting to get excited though., hope the exchange rate improves soon!
Chris & Sandra
PS what was the weather like out thre last week?

Hi Chris and Sandra,
Chilly in the morning and evening but during the day it was warm enough for shorts and t shirts.
We were in a hotel at Lo Pagan and it was right on the sea front so we did have a chilly breeze, when we went inland it felt much warmer though.
I think it's best to hold on if possible for the paperwork to be completed but as we have rebooked 3 flights we are aiming to have the handover in time for Christmas. There is a gentleman living on site who has managed without electricity for 5 weeks and he is coping OK using battery lamps etc and using his BBQ for cooking. We will wait till the last day possible and if need be, we will try and get into a hotel, at least we can sort out the shopping. After that we can't get out until Easter.

Hi Davina,
Many thanks for taking time out for the photos. The pool area looks good, and will be a bonus for the area, and great for our kids & grandkids when they go out next year.
Hi Chris & Sandra,
Aren't the exchange rates worrying! You could get around 1.50 euro to the pound 3 months ago, now you'll struggle to get 1.42. We're hanging on just in case things improve - some hope. In a way, the utilities problem is an uninvited bonus, as we do not have to sign until they are made available (our villas have been available for signing since 25th September). Trouble is, they keep going down.
Anyone on this site in the Financial market game? If so, advice please.
Regards
John B.
