There's a place in Vera called Raci. Head up to the first main roundabout in Vera if you're coming from the coastal road or the back way at the back of the development. (pass the Nissan dealership). Turn left at the roundabout and about half a mile down the right hand side is Raci. I think it was 30 euros.

I have not actually had it done ,but Mister Minit in Almeria have done it for others.
What was your Xmas dinner like at Shamrocks ,we might stay over next year?

The Shamrock was actually closed as their chef had left & they couldn't get another one until February.
They held lunch downstairs in the Irish Rover - inside is quite nice & catered for about 80 people.
They did Beef Turkey & Ham & the guy serving it obviously didn't know when to stop - at least 4 big slices on each plate. Veg & potatos were serve yourself, which we hadn't really expected.
However, having said that the food was great & a good atmosphere. We would go back again for Christmas dinner.
If you see my other post about restaurants though, I think i would go to El Mar La Mar if they were doing Christmas dinner simply because it is only about a 5km round trip whereas the Shamrock is about 30km round trip.

Happy New Year. We did not realise that the Shamrock was upstairs .We walked in past the meat chef at the front and straight through we believed that we had arrived at the Shamrock

Has anyone actually managed to get additional keys cut?

I would expect your keys to be the same as ours. We got a pedestrian gate key and door key cut at a Ferreteria at the Bouganville roundabout. If you look at Depau's in front of you, follow the parde of shops down the back street and it is there. 6€ per key.

Hmmm, may not be the same keys then, which is strange! Our keys came with the code printed on one of the keys. A trip to the locksmith and it was done in 5 minutes. We didn't bring a key back, otherwise I would have taken a picture and posted it to see if they are similar.
I do wonder about the keys though as the wrong ones were sent to the notary for the pedestrian gate and I had to spend 20 minutes in the Key Mare office waiting for the right ones!
Weather was good except for the Thursday when it poured down in the morning, the same day we were supposed to be hooked up to Sky!! They came about an hour later and hooked us up though, don't use Europa, too expensive!! Our terrace is South facing, so we had sun most of the day on Xmas day. Turkey on the balcony, mmmmmm  .
Next trip in Fe. Roll on half term  .
