After reading the last post I contacted the planning office in Mijas,( Aifos hav'nt contacted me, but I use the info from last thread) here is my letter and the quick reply-
Dear Katja,
I was wondering if there was any news on the licence 796/03 for the Aifos hipodromo development?
Aifos have contacted me and said that completion on some of the blocks will take place in April 2008, have they applied for habitation licences for some of the blocks?
Is it legally possible to sell apartment blocks on unfinished developments?
Many thanks

And this is the reply I recieved-
Good morning,
Sorry to tell you that strictly nothing as been presented by Aifos regarding the L.O. 796/03...
Do you happen to have a fax? I recently got a plan of the situation of the buildings so that
at least you may assure that your property is included in mentioned building licence...
as long as there is no first occupation licence being granted, by law nobody would be allowed
to already move into a property... Aifos could well apply for the licence for parts of the promotion.
Best regards for now, Katja.

I also sent her my fax number and she sent me a map of the development, stating the buildings which are included in the original licence 769/03
The blocks WITH a licence are Derby, Espuela, Estribo, Alazan, Tordo, Ascot and Brida.
Blocks WITHOUT a licence are Pinto and Herradura.
What I cant understand is why Aifos havnt built the 7 blocks stated, instead 4 with licences and part of Herradura which has never had a licence.
I also rang Aifos in Malaga and talked toElizabeth Tel- 678 72 11 who said that no blocks will be released until at least 2009.
