Can anyone recommend their agent? We was suposed to complete on a property in Heredade in May this year 2008 but just found out they don't even have planning permission in place luckily we have only paid the 3000 euros reservation fee!!

Just been looking at Luna Mar and see there are apartments still available that are complete now and look exactly what we want. We are over there for a week from 12th Feb so will have a look just doing a bit of research at moment

Several of the people who are neighbours in Lunamar phase II bought through Ambersun, who are quite a large agent. We however went through Derek McGauley at Spanish Realty. He's a small agent and his office is in Cuidad Quesada.

Probably a dumb question, but do you actually need an agent? Couldn't you just go into the Golf Invest Office in Daya Nueva and arrange to buy directly?

John has a good point, all you need really is a lawyer or in our case a gestoria. We used a chap in the village, who's a Brit but has been in Spain some 30 odd years. He handled all our conveyancing for us. I could PM his details if you like, he is cheaper than a lawyer, but translates all the documents for you. If you need a Mortgage we also have the name of a good broker, who was excellent.

Actually buying direct you could probably negotiate on the price, as the price quoted includes the agent fee.

Golf invest are agents the developer is Palacios mar in Formentera Segura their office is next to the intermarcha supermarket ,  they do sell direct the price will be the same but they will give extras in the price, the sales manager is English  ask for Simon.

Hi, we used an agent in La Zenia - some 20mins from Luna Mar.   Sunline  International - www.sunline.ws. We found them brillant. Brought us to various towns to see properties and no pressure of any kind.   Some of the team from Yorkshire but all living in Spain for years.   A lovely small company.  Once we decided on a property, Geraldine ' from after sales' dealt with us directly in all areas.  If she did not know something she found it out instantly..   Met us on all trips.   Went out to the site every 6/8 weeks and took photos and emailed them back to us.   We did not need a solicitor.   When we sign they will provide a translator for us.   On our last trip at end of Feb she brought us to as many furniture etc shops we wanted.   Her knowledge is endless and very good decorating tips.
