Royal Doulton Dinner Service

Hi my wife and I completed in January 2007, but did not have the utilities connected untill last week of September 2007. But we are being told to pay for community fees since September 2006, has anyonelse had the same request. Also we have no lift, no cleaning of community areas, no garden been completed, no garage key. The pavement areas are not kerbed like the show flat area ( and are damaged in areas). As for the blocks in front, I think they need anothere 3 months (sorry dont know block numbers) We still have not had our snags completed (12 months now) 

i have bought in block 13, it is not ready yet just wondered did you have a habitation certificate

Hi Rob, We also completed in January 07 and have just been informed that our apartment is now ready and furnished. We have not been asked to pay community charges as yet. How much are they and who requested it? Did you take advice from your lawyer?  As the development is still a building site, how can they justify these charges!!!!

We are heading out again on 1st March for 2 weeks and will post an update and latest pics on our return.

My solicitor just wants the easy route and has advised us to pay, but we are still not going to pay as yet. We are contacting the company who are the managers, who are, Grupo AEA, Tel 952 826335, Email marbella@aea-administracion.com. And yes we have had the habitation licence. My wife and I are also out there on the second of March.

so what exactly are the community charges for?

No gardens and lifts are not working. Supposedly there is a gardener on site.
