Hi we said we would give you an update on our return from fsa, regarding our outstanding snag list, we are pleased to inform you all, that victor and pavell have a handy man working for them, called Alex, he took care of our snag list as if it was his own property, admitdley there were a few items he could not do. like the kitchen there was a whole section of the marble splash back which was out of line by 10mmm.this did not deter Alex or pavel.they went and got the kitchen fitter, to do this job the following day, Alex then fitted the sink in the utitly room, and rectified all the over indulgencies with the mastic gun, done by the builders, he even fitted a tile which had come off in the main bathroom, here are a few items still waiting on our snag list, like the kitchen sink and a double socket in the kitchen, but this is due to a material shortage, and can be fitted in a couple of hours ,when they become available. We personally could not knock the enthusiasm of Alex and Pavel. Victor asked how long we were in Spain, and regarding the snag list, he would try to do it before we came home, and we can say honestly he almost achieved what he had said. We saw Pavel on the Thursday 19 oct and he asked if we would sign, we then replied we always intended to sign, but will only sign when (a) our last remaining items on the snag list have been completed 100%, including the missing items.(b) The full occupation licence is granted and the electricity supply is fully installed. Some outstanding issues are addressed or answers given. These issues were not discuses with Pavel, but with our laywer, they are.1 putting plants in bare areas - victor said he would get it done this winter. Gym Equipment, let me repeat what Victor told us, he said he would provide some of the equipment, if we personally go by what he has done for our snag list, IE he would get it done, then I think he will stand by his word ,to provide some equipment for the Gym. For those of you that are thinking the project on the whole is not very good. Or has been mismanaged. Then put yourselves in the hands of the developers, they have been involved in a legal wrangle, it dose not matter at this stage whose fault it is., but the fact is precious time has been wasted into solving this legal issue. It has obviously been a financial drain. This is we think why the original management company, set up by Mary Dunne, for looking after the complex. Security, cleaning, gardening, has been given the dreaded bums rush, some might moan at this, but common sense must prevail, we must help the developers not hinder them... Alright some of you may have your own list of snagging items to be finished, please try and get it done before you sign, your contract’s and i'am sure your lawyer will advise you on this. Sit down and talk to Victor and Pavel, like we did. They were excellent with us .and I am sure they will be with all of you. We all know there are issues, but by only looking forward, not backwards and act all together in a unified and constructive manner, we can collectively help the developers to finish this development once and for all. A big issue facing the community is the colour of the sun blinds for outside patios. Maroon and gold was suggested but it would look like a Chinese restaurant, but we have to agree a colour and quickly. Take a look at some of the photos taken recently, and how good the complex looks. Finally we would like to say very big thank you to every one we saw at FSA , including ALEX for is assistance, the response from the developers. The hospitality given to us by our neighbours Pat and John Bisshop, was terrific, we look very much forward to seeing you all again in the near future as neighbours and friends. Please please write back soon to this web site. Thanks again GILLIAN AND ANTHONY OWEN
P.s The photos of the sink and the electrical socket are not ment as sarcasm, but just to show you how little is left of the snag list and how easy to do.
