WE DID NOT GET TO SIGN ON FRIDAY, IT WAS ALL GOING WELL AT THE NOTARY UNTIL THE BBVA BANK WANTED US TO PAY A EXTRA 9000 EUROS MORE ON OUR NEW PROPERTY FOR A OUTSTANDING DEBT ON THE PROPERTY (BUILDERS MORTAGE) WE THINK...

LUCKY OUR SOLICITOR SPOTTED IT AND CONTESTED IT, AS WE WOULD OF HAD TO PAY IT..EVEN MASA AND THE NOTARY MAN SAID THAT THE BANK HAD GOT THERE SUMS WRONG (BUT THE YOUNG BANK LAD COULD NOT SEE THIS) SO IT WAS ALL ADGOURNED UNTIL IT IS SORTED....  HOPE WE CAN GET IN NEXT WEEK...

Sorry to hear about your troubles - I'm sure that it is only temporary and that you will be there, keys in hand, soon!!  GM cock-ups occur frequently, as you will seen on this forum, but they do get resolved!! ( yours, with luck, next week.).

Sorry to hear that Bobby, we had heard that Masa' loan on the land was being paid of on  a property by property basis, on the day you completed Masa was supposed to clear their mortgage percentage they owed on your property ie. 9000 euro, this was a paperwork exercise which seems didnt go through as expected. Because masa had not completed the transaction had you taken possesion you would have been liable for that bill.

At least you know what the land cost them?

Anyway, its sounds like its just a proceedural matter and nothing to be concerned about, youve got this far, try not to let it annoy you too much.

Did you have to pay for a draft or did they do a funds transfer for you??

Annemarie and myself just can't believe the run of bad luck you are having, it's one thing after another. But we are sure John B is right, it is only a temporary set back and once the paperwork is sorted at BBVA you will be in, hopefully before the 14th of may cause we are looking forward to the house warming party that you dont know your having yet!! I'll bring the cider.

Glad to hear that you have new dates - hopefully all will go well this time, and we can have a housewarming party (anytime after 25th April until the 4th May'caus we will be 'on site'). Will be there with 'unbroken' crate of Stella in hand (definitely NO cider)!!

Hi Rob and Sue sorry you did not get to sign but hopefully it will be done either by the 26th apr or the 13th may when we are out and seeing as you are having that housewarming party that you dont know about .it will be nice to have it then as i am there dont want to miss out on any more barbys
